This Men’s Chippewa 8in Heavy Duty Tough Bark Waterproof Insulation Steel Toe Boot is a good waterproof outdoor boot with a steel toe. This boot features goodyear welt/chip-a-tex waterproof bootie construction, chippewa/Q rubber outsole, non tarnishable hardware, 4oo grams of 3M thinsulate ultra insulation, and ASTM electrical hazard rated.
3M Thinsulate Ultra Insulation – Thinsulate Ultra insulation is loftier and thicker than original Thinsulate insulation for even greater warmth and comfort, yet still thin enough to allow complete freedom of movement. A mid-loft insulation, it is designed for some of the harshest conditions on earth and retains insulating value in damp conditions.
Chip-A-Tex – The Chip-A-Tex waterproof membrane system is breathable. Water is locked out of the boot by the membrane shield but air passes through from the foot for maximum comfort.
Chippewa products use only premium raw materials and are hand crafted in USA. To this day, our U.S. made boots still carry the “Hand Crafted in USA” labels as homage to the men and women that have built the Chippewa brand.
